Unscrew the trucks from your skateboard and start to paint on the deck. After the not-so-private view of The Decked Project this is all you will want to do.
Set up in Coningsby Gallery in London's West End this exhibition is the second round of the Stolen Space Decked show that set Brick Lane on fire last year. This 2010 edition showcases the artwork of 60 wicked hands, belonging to a group of illustrators, graphic designers, graffiti and tattoo artists.

Driven by a genuine DIY attitude, every artist has customized a board creating a unique artwork, that's exhibited together with a series of pimped Vans Chukka boots.

Among all the decks there's Cristina Guitian's Collecting Time. A deck where a dismantled antique clock makes the time seem frozen and a taxidermized bird acting like a dead cuckoo that cannot mark time anymore.

After having showcased his artwork at UCA in Canterbury, 20 year old illustrator Luke Overin comes to his second Decked show with We've Made The Roads Our Home, a board that's tribute to his love for streets β and concrete we bet!

Rats, crocodiles and mysterious creatures from underground hidden worlds populate the Thames. Above a London's metropolitan landscape, with the Millennium Bridge, buildings and skyscrapers. Here's Above and Below, Lisa Humphreys' wooden low-relief artwork for Decked.

And after the dark muddy waters of the river Thames, here comes the ocean, with a pirate ship and an octopus on a light green background. The hand who did it is from Jim Nolan, an illustrator who loves pirate history and 50s cartoons and design. Wreck is the title of his custom artboard.

Special mention to Birmingham based artist Log Roper, who submitted a two-in-one entry, an artwork and an instrument at the same time getting together his passion for both music and art. Skuitar is the name he's chosen for this amazing guitar made with a skate deck, that can only be played with a truck to slide. Have a look at the vid!
Don't miss the show before it closes or be doomed to ride your skate while waiting for The Decked Project #3!
